♥ Equality

on

I have never understood people who can really hate.
My anger lasts only 5 min and its gone.
The only thing that I still try to understand & encompass is : ♥

Love for me means giving all without expecting anything in return.
Accepting people for their heart and soul not for their gender.

Thats what the coming weekend and week is about although it is
also a great excuse to properly party and if all goes well to enjoy the sun.

Its we are proud week  and weather your straight or not there is something to do
for everyone:

  • Party’s
  • Art expo’s
  • Debates
  • Walking routes on art and culture
  • Sport
  • Film
  • Programs for the elderly ( Grey Pride )
  • … and so much more

A bit of history

n the early 90’s they water to get the Gay Games to Amsterdam. The Gay Games board then wanted something special.
Something that had never before been seen elsewhere.
The idea of a boat parade on the canals of Amsterdam to celebrate the Pride was born.
In 1994 Gay Business Amsterdam (GBA) was approached by the Gay Games board to organise this boat parade,
ever since know as Canal Pride. In 1996 for the first time boats paraded on the canals of Amsterdam during Amsterdam Pride.

The festival lasts a week closing of with one of my favorite events of the year in Amsterdam : The canal parade.
You need to have experienced this at least once.
This year we will be joined by our Ministry of Defense !!!

Did you know that its viewed and broadcast live over the world ?!

Take some time out, enjoy the weather and celebrate love and equality.
